PEACE OFFICER MEMORIAL RUN

VOLUNTEERS INFO

Volunteers are essential in the success of any great event. They are vital in providing a safe, organized and fun race. It will take over 250 volunteers to ensure the safety, accuracy, fun and the highest level on organization necessary to produce the Peace Officer Memorial Run Half Marathon, Relay, 5K and Kids Fun Run.

Volunteers are needed to help with the packet pick-up to check in runners and hand out run shirts and goodie bags; course monitors to insure the safety of runners, direct them to stay on course and the most important is to be the primary cheerleaders and motivators as the runners pass; distribute water at the aid stations; handout finishers medals and in many other areas that make up this great event.  Volunteers under the age of 18 must accompanied by an adult.

Now is your chance to honor the fallen officers from Stanislaus County and welcome the athletes that will be joining us for this amazing event. All volunteers will receive a Race Crew T-shirt and some light refreshments, depending on their location.

The times listed are approximate. Course monitors will need to be in place by 6:15 am and will be released by the Modesto Police Department or Race Official after the final participant passes through the course.
